PReS School webinars

PReS School webinars will be held 3rd Tuesday each month, from 12:00 to 13:00 pm CET, 1 hour duration - 2 moderators (1 senior, 1 EMERGE), and 2 speakers (20 minutes presentation each). Each webinar will be organized by one Working Party. Our goal is to review knowledge in pediatric rheumatology from medium to advanced level, at the same time that we build community between PReS members across the world.

1. Anna-Kaisa Tuomi (FI): Body mass index is associated with health-related quality of life and disease characteristics in young adults with juvenile idiopathic arthritis
2. Florian Milatz (DE): Physical activity in JIA: levels, correlates, and perspectives


The webinar will focus on the issue of physical activity in children and young people with JIA. Are JIA patients hypoactive? Does a physically active lifestyle improve the outcome of children with JIA? Do we need shared recommendations to promote physical activity for JIA patients? Florian Milatz and Anna-Kaisa Tuoni will provide evidence to find an answer to these questions.
