Pediatric Rheumatology is proud to inform everyone about the raise of its Impact Factor from 2.5 to 2.8 in 2023. In addition, we received the highest number of total citations so far (2,733) in 2023 and hope to see this trend continued. 

We are now ranking 58/186 in the JCI in Pediatrics (Q2) and 15/57 in Rheumatology (Q2) and the Normalized Eigenfactor improved further to 0.82129. The most cited paper published in the relevant time (2021 to 2022) was the one by Zaripova, L.N., Midgley, A., Christmas, S.E., Beresford, M.W., Baildam, E.M., Oldershaw, R.A. "Juvenile idiopathic arthritis: from aetiopathogenesis to therapeutic approaches" - Pediatr Rheumatology 19, 135 (2021) -  cited 43 times! 

The second highest cited paper was the one by Cattalini, M., Della Paolera, S., Zunica, F. et al. "Defining Kawasaki disease and pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome-temporally associated to SARS-CoV-2 infection during SARS-CoV-2 epidemic in Italy: results from a national, multicenter survey" - Pediatr Rheumatology 19, 29 (2021).  (cited 27 times), followed by two papers cited 14 times:
