Dr. Gul Demirkan
Dr. Gul Demirkan completed her Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship at İstanbul Faculty of Medicine and is currently practicing as a pediatric rheumatologist at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital in İstanbul, Türkiye. She serves as the Clinical Lead of the EMERGE Research/Working Party Subcommittee and represents EMERGE in the Autoinflammatory Working Party.
Dr. Nuray Aktay Ayaz
Dr. Nuray Aktay Ayaz is a pediatric rheumatologist and head of the Pediatric Rheumatology Department at Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty. I also coordinate the Master’s Program on Autoinflammatory Diseases, which aligns with my special interest in autoinflammatory diseases and childhood vasculitis. In addition to running a highly active outpatient clinic, I have authored over 150 internationally indexed scientific publications in pediatric rheumatology. Since 2023, I have been serving as the Secretary of the Autoinflammatory Diseases Working Group within the Pediatric Rheumatology European Society (PReS), contributing to research and collaboration in this field.
