Dear colleagues,
A paediatric rheumatology team thrives on its multidisciplinary approach, but funding, workloads, and hierarchy often limit health professionals' access to conferences.
To address this, we urge physicians attending the PRES congress in Helsinki to support a Health Professional from their team—this could be financial, through encouragement, or by offering guidance on funding applications.
Eligible professionals include nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, dieticians, and others. If both of you attend, ask them to contact Polly Livermore (polly.livermore@ucl.ac.uk), Health Professional Chair of PRES, to share how you supported them. They’ll be entered into a €200 prize draw announced at the opening ceremony.
This year’s PRES congress features an expanded Health Professional programme over two cost-effective days (Thu/Fri), with early bird fees now available. Encourage your team to register early and make the most of this exceptional opportunity!
