PRES Knowledge Based Exam (KBE)
Date: 10.06.2025
For the third year running, PRES will be offering PRES’s Knowledge Based Exam (KBE) at the Annual Meeting, this year taking place in Helsinki on the 17th of September. A test of knowledge in paediatric rheumatology, it is accessible to any (future) specialist regardless of their country of origin and/or training and acts as valuable evidence of a level of training that will be recognized as such across the world. |
What our past examinees are saying about it: "I decided to take it when I was in the final stages of my training as Pediatric Rheumatologist in Mexico, as a way to assess my ability and competitiveness. For me, the exam was clear and precise in terms of the level of knowledge required, there was sufficient time to complete it and the way the results were reported was appropriate for identifying areas of opportunity. I highly recommend it to colleagues in training and those already in medical practice, as a way to standardize knowledge in Pediatric Rheumatology." - Regina Escamilla Violante "I know that taking the KBE is not mandatory these days, but I feel it is a responsibility to myself and the patients I care for. I hope that this voluntary KBE will be the first step towards having a European "PRES" certification in the short term, similar to the board certification in other places’’. - Juan Mosquera Should you have any questions about taking the KBE, feel free to contact Info-PReS@wearemci.com. |
