We are delighted to invite you to the 31st annual PReS Meeting, to be held on September 11-14, 2024, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This year we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the foundation of PReS. We will celebrate the jubilee with an exciting and inspiring program reflecting recent advancements within the field. And, as always at PReS meetings, the invited faculty represents internationally renowned clinicians and scientists who will present and discuss significant and exciting developments in pathophysiology, diagnostics, and clinical management of pediatric rheumatology. In the program you will recognize some of the favorites over the year: Grand debates and Thieves market. Added to that many outstanding presentations with varying themes. Also, of course, as tradition is, you will find Young Investigators Meeting and EULAR Pediatric Ultrasound Course.

We are especially happy and honored that the City of Gothenburg and Region Västra Götaland will host the welcome reception.

Gothenburg is a friendly city situated at the west coast of Sweden, home to a vibrant cultural and gastronomic scene and sustainable living. The City is easy to get to. The international airport offers great connections and is located less than 20 minutes from the city center and the congress venue.

The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, and in-house hotel Gothia Towers, stands out from the crowd. It is Europe’s largest fully integrated hotel, exhibition and conference facility, situated in the heart of Gothenburg with close proximity to virtually everything. The venue’s central location makes it easy to enjoy the restaurants, hotels and entertainment that are conveniently situated within walking distance. For example, Universeum Science Centre is situated just across the street of the congress center and both the Gothenburg Art Museum and the Concert Hall is within a ten minutes’ walk.

The city’s compact, pedestrian-friendly city center makes it, easy to move around, and right on the doorstep is one of the most stunning archipelagos in the world easily reached by public transportation. Gothenburg is a green city, partly thanks to its closeness to forests and parks, but also to the compact layout of the city.)

Gothenburg is a popular meetings destination, and for the seventh year in a row, Gothenburg is named the world’s most sustainable destination according to the Global Destination Sustainability Index. The city strives to develop the city as a sustainable destination by taking financial, environmental and social responsibility, and by constantly challenging accepted ideas of sustainability.
