The 31st PReS Congress will take place at the Svenska Mässan Congress Centre, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Certificate of Attendance 

A certificate of attendance will be sent via email to each attendee after the congress. 

Letter of Invitation 

A letter of invitation can be requested online during the registration process once the applicable fees have been paid. Letters of invitation for visa application do not imply a commitment from the conference to provide a financial support. 

Travel Insurance 

It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their countries. PReS and MCI as organisers cannot accept responsibility for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to, private property belonging to the congress participants. 

Visa 

The visa requirements for Sweden vary according to the country of origin of its visitors. All visitors entering Sweden must be in the possession of a valid passport. Please check which rules and requirements apply to you on https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/sweden-visa/

Directions:

The congress center boasts excellent accessibility, with a bus and tram station a mere 2-minute walk away, facilitating convenient connections through various modes of public transportation. Moreover, the central station of Gothenburg is only 25 minutes away by foot and 10 minutes by public transportation from the venue.

Travel to Gothenburg

The international airport Landvetter (GOT) is located 20 kilometres south-east of the city centre and you can easilty travel from various destinations in Europe and the world.

Furthermore, travelling by train may be another option. Train companies such as SJ, Öresundstågen, MTRX, Västtrafik, Tågab and Vy trains are running frequent services to and from the central station in Gothenburg, connecting the city with the Scandinavian capitals Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. The journey times are just under 4 hours from Oslo, around 3 hours from Stockholm and 3,5 hours from Copenhagen. The trains from Denmark stop at Copenhagen international airport, making it a convenient option to fly there and catch the train to Gothenburg.

Visa Information

Congress participants requiring visa to enter Sweden should process their visa application as soon as possible.

Participants may obtain a visa invitation letter at the time of making their online registration for the congress. The letter is automatically sent to participants who have fully completed their application and paid.

Abstract presenters and YIM participants may obtain a customized invitation letter prior to their registration by contacting pres@mci-group.com. Please include a reference to the abstract under consideration in your email.

Participants who have applied for visa in due time and receive a rejection notice from the visa office will benefit from a refund of their registration fee (minus 40 EUR handling fee).
