We are delighted to invite you to the
33rd annual PReS Congress
September 16-19, 2026, in Belgrade, Serbia
This year, we are celebrating the 27th anniversary of the foundation of PReS with our 33rd Congress.
We have an exciting and inspiring program reflecting recent advancements in the field. And, as always in PReS meetings, the invited faculty represent internationally renowned clinicians and scientists who will present and discuss significant and exciting developments in the pathophysiology, diagnostics, and clinical management of pediatric rheumatology.
In the program, we will discuss new horizons in the treatment for paediatric rheumatic disease and immune mediated diseases, from CAR-Tcells to gene editing. In addition, there will be many outstanding presentations on various themes and our “Grand Debates”. Also, of course, as per tradition, you will find the Young Investigators Meeting, the PReS Knowledge Based Exam (KBE) and many courses before and after the Congress.
Serbia is a country located in the Balkans, in southeast Europe. It was a founder and one of the six republics of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It is situated on one of the major land routes from Central Europe to Turkey and further on to the Near East. Its territory is crossed by some of the main rivers in the Southeast of Europe, especially the Danube.
After a 2014 edition remembered by all, we are especially happy to come back to Belgrade!
The city is one of the oldest in Europe and the second largest urban area in the Balkans. Located at the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers, Belgrade bears many millennia old symbols.
With around 1.6 million people inhabitants, it’s not only the biggest economic centre in Serbia but also the capital city of the Serbian culture, education and science. It has the highest number of institutions in the field of science and art of national importance.
The Sava Centar, home of the PReS 2026 congress, is one of the biggest conference centres in Serbia and south-eastern Europe.
This iconic building has been declared a cultural monument. The recent refurbishment which ended in 2023 has transformed this 40 years historic site into a modern and functional space thanks to the use of cutting-edge technologies and materials.
Sava Centar has been setting standards from the very beginning through innovative architectural solutions and state-of-the-art technology that have made it always one step ahead of its time.
Inspired by its rich history, they continue to set even more ambitious goals and standards, focusing on the same approach to social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
We look forward to welcoming you to Belgrade!
