SPEAKERS:
Dr. Evelien Snauwaert (M.D., Ph.D.) is pediatric nephrologist at Princess Elisabeth Children's Hospital (Ghent University Hospital) in Ghent, Belgium. She completed a fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Snauwaert has a special interest in the multidisciplinary care for children with chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and complement disorders. She is the Belgian representative of the Young Pediatric Nephrologists' Network of ESPN.
Dr. Thomas Renson (M.D., Ph.D.) is pediatric rheumatologist at the Princess Elisabeth Children's Hospital (Ghent University Hospital) in Ghent, Belgium. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology at Wilhelmina Children's Hospital in Utrecht, the Netherlands and a Vasculitis fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology and Rheumatology at Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary, Canada. Dr Renson has a special interest in systemic vasculitis, chronic non-infectious osteomyelitis, and juvenile spondyloarthritis. He is the PReS EMERGE country liaison for Belgium.
