Clinical Affairs

The committee of clinical affairs will set up guidelines for the management of pediatric rheumatic diseases. The guidelines will enable us to establish a minimum of care that should be given all over Europe.

Patients should be able to refer to them in the context of shrinking health budgets. Politicians should be referring to them if health issues get mixed up. The guidelines should help us standardize treatment and thus be better ready to perform clinical studies together.

The guidelines will be written by groups of four or five pediatric rheumatologists, among them a senior physician with long standing experience in the field.
