 *   Indicative Total Remuneration: $292,183 - $540,208 (pro rata) – Perm P/T (30 hrs p/wk) – MD2

Joining the team at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality inpatient, outpatient and community paediatric Rheumatology services. You will also play a key role in assisting with undergraduate and postgraduate training in the discipline of paediatric Rheumatology. Contributing to advances in knowledge in the specialty, you will participate in education and research within the Unit and will encourage and support teamwork amongst staff for optimal clinical service outcomes. The Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH) provides state of the art health care for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia. It is South Australia’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions and SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service. It also provides important community-based services. Each year, more than 30,000 people are admitted and about 5,000 babies are born at the hospital. In addition more than 250,000 people come to the hospital as outpatients annually.

Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, you will have appropriate Specialist Qualifications and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration. With demonstrated experience in paediatric rheumatology and adolescent rheumatology advanced training, you will fulfil the subspecialty requirements for a tertiary specialist and achieving the competencies laid down in the RACP training scheme or equivalent. Having worked before in a large public hospital environment, you will be competent in managing patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain.
